Our history...
The emigrant
The first barrel
Martin has always wanted to travel far away; at the age of 26 he realized his dream of emigrating and purchased a 100-year-old house in Sweden. There he noticed the typical hot tubs and Martin quickly built his first barrel for himself. As a trained roof plumber, he chose his favorite metal, stainless steel, as the material for the interior tub.
The second chapter
Feuerwasser comes home
In his new Swedish home, the globetrotter has an unexpected experience for him: the 2,000 kilometers between his new place of residence and his homeland, as well as the long, dark winters, gave him trouble. He therefore left this phase of his life behind and returned to Austria. What remains are the special moments in the hot tub – lying in the warm water in the icy cold.
2 minutes 2 million
We're getting investors on board... er, in the tub
Or not? In April 2020 we were at 2 minutes 2 million with our barrel and tub. You can see in the recording how the decision was made and whether cooperation with the jurors was achieved. One thing is clear: our products have certainly not been on TV for the last time!
Today:
The barrel meets the tub and the cup
A lot has happened in the meantime: the first barrel was followed by many more, a company was founded and the Feuerwasser tub and the Feuerwasser cup now complement the portfolio of Feuerwasser barrels.

The Geschützten Werkstätten Tirol
The Geschützte Werkstätte Integrative Betriebe Tirol GmbH (GW) has been a reliable partner to the economy for 40 years. Around 300 employees ensure production diversity and vertical integration at two ultra-modern production sites. GW Tirol sees its obligation primarily in the social area. The focus is on youth training and the creation of safe jobs for people with disabilities . Currently around 85% of employees are employees with a disability. As different as the disabilities are, the areas of application with trained specialists are also different. For this reason, it is possible to respond to each individual's abilities and possibilities. Commitment, team spirit and the constant striving for perfection are important building blocks for success.
For firewater , GW Tirol produces the stainless steel inner tubs for the barrels and the ovens for firing at the Imst location. The wooden cladding is manufactured in the GW carpentry workshop in Vomp.

Greil carpentry shop
Since 1927, the Greil family business has been realizing the wishes of its customers at an idyllic location in Inzing with great attention to detail, professional competence and reliability. The carpentry workshop combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology and thus realizes individual projects.
For Feuerwasser, the Greil carpentry workshop produces wooden components for the tub and the barrel .
