About us: our History & vision
From the first wood-fired hot tub to our own workshop.
Roots in Sweden
A sheet metal roofer in the Swedish winter
Martin was always drawn to faraway places. At the age of 26, he bought a 100-year-old house in Sweden to live a simple life there. In the freezing temperatures, the country's traditional hot tubs caught his eye. As a trained sheet metal roofer, he promptly crafted his first very own stainless steel hot tub. The choice of his favorite metal was entirely pragmatic – it is hygienic, durable, and indestructible.
The return home
A feeling comes to Austria
The time in Sweden was formative, but the longing for the mountains back home was stronger. What remained was the memory of those special moments in the stainless steel hot tub – lying in warm water in freezing temperatures, heated only by a real fire. Back home, the resolve grew to share this experience of technical independence and honest materials with others.
Founding & portfolio expansion
From the Wood-fired Hot Tub to the Outdoor Bathtub
The company was officially founded. The first model was followed by many more, but we kept thinking ahead. We wanted to make the principle of independent water use accessible for smaller spaces, too. Thus, the Outdoor Bathtub and the Stainless Steel Hot Tub were added to our portfolio – both crafted to the exact same standards: solid stainless steel, premium solid wood, and 100% Made in Austria.
Stepping into the public eye
Functional design in the spotlight
Our models were fully developed, and the functional design was finalized. In April 2020, we took the leap onto television on the show "2 Minuten 2 Millionen" and presented our Wood-fired Hot Tub as well as the prototype of the Outdoor Bathtub. We demonstrated how easily warm water outdoors can work without an electricity or gas connection. The overwhelming feedback from the viewers confirmed we were on the right path.
The addition of the Outdoor Shower
Warm showers – independent of electricity and gas
Since spring 2024, the Outdoor Shower has complemented our product range. It is the result of our continuous development: a product with a timeless and robust design. Our promise applies here, too: warm water in just 5 minutes, completely without an electricity or gas connection. With just a simple water connection, it is quickly ready for use and provides warm water through the power of fire.
Our vision
Honest craftsmanship as the new standard
Our vision is for honest craftsmanship made of stainless steel and solid pine wood to become the standard for outdoor bathing and showering. We consciously remain a small workshop to dedicate our exclusive production capacity to the highest manufacturing quality. We create handcrafted unique pieces for people who appreciate functional independence and material durability as a value-retaining investment.
