Frequently asked questions about the products

We have answered some product-specific questions here.

How much and which wood do I need to bathe in the barrel once?

In principle, any type of wood and branches can be used, but we recommend wood that produces a lot of flames and gives off heat quickly (e.g. spruce wood). It is convenient for heating if the logs are approx. 25-30 cm long. The thinner the logs are, the faster the water heats up. We recommend a log diameter of approx. 3-5 cm.

The outdoor stove has a double wall, between which there is the water, which is heated by the fire in the stove. The barrel and the stove are connected to each other via two hoses. Cold water is sucked into the oven via the lower hose and heated there. The warm water rises and automatically flows back into the hot tub via the upper hose.

The bowl of the bath cup is made of 2-4 mm thick V4A stainless steel. Since this basin was pushed out of a plate, the stainless steel wall is thicker at the bottom than at the top and therefore has no welds.

The location must be horizontal and have a load capacity of at least 1.2 tonnes. Stable surfaces, such as stone or exposed concrete slabs, are well suited. It is important that the bath cup is not at an angle and does not sink in when filled. The outdoor oven must be placed at the same height next to the cup. Around the stove, a distance of about one meter from the surroundings should remain free. We recommend a stable substructure with a size of 3.10 x 2.6 m.

Yes, of course. You can easily regulate your desired water temperature via the mixing valve.

From ice cold to pleasantly hot, everything is possible here.

A fastening nozzle for concrete floor is supplied with each firewater shower, this is anchored to the floor by means of three screws, then the foot of the shower is attached and clamped laterally with screws.

Alternatively, you can buy the record stand in our shop, so you can set up the shower flexibly anywhere. Four conventional stone slabs (40x40x4 cm) are sufficient for a secure hold.

Yes, you can use the firewater shower as usual even in winter.

It is important that you perform the following 3 steps in sub-zero temperatures after using the shower:

1. Open the red drain valve as usual after showering.

2. Remove the hand shower with hose from the valve and make sure the valve is open.

3. Remove the mixing valve from the shower by turning it.

This means that all parts of the shower are completely drained of water and are therefore winter-proof.

We recommend changing the bath water – as with bathing in the bathtub – after each bath. Feuerwasser has deliberately decided against using water treatment systems that require chlorine and electricity. The wastewater can be used very well for watering and watering in the garden.

The firewater products are easy to maintain: clean the inner tub with soapy water (with a soft cloth or sponge, please do not use scratching sponges, steel wool or aggressive abrasives), empty the ashes from the stove regularly and glaze the wood as needed.

Depending on the humidity and sunlight, the wood will change, so some screws may become loose, you can easily tighten them yourself.

We recommend protecting the products with the respective tarpaulin .
